BioAgenda’s mission is to provide an independent, non-partisan, non-industry forum and an institute dedicated to an inclusive, critical discussion of biotech and life sciences issues and policy. All voices and reasonable points of view are welcome, with diversity of opinion a major aim of the organization. This mission can only succeed if all parties associated with BioAgenda agree to this mission of independence and diversity.
To insure the highest ethics and integrity of content, BioAgenda has created an organizational structure modeled after a newspaper or magazine. The Editorial Director serves as the Editor-in-Chief; he will decide content, topics, and the editorial direction of the organization, with input and guidance from the Council of Journalists, and advice from the Board of Advisors. The Editorial Director is solely responsible for formulating the content and issues of BioAgenda, and will adhere to the highest journalistic standards. BioAgenda’s business, fundraising, financial, and logistical operations are handled exclusively by the Executive Producer and Publisher. All business operations of BioAgenda and BioAgenda programs are also independent of outside influence from underwriters or any outside groups, political parties, or individuals.
BioAgenda welcomes all points of view in formulating content and in running the organization. To insure the highest integrity in discussing critical and controversial matters, we ask that all BioAgenda staff, advisors, underwriters, alliance partners, and other supporters read and understand these policies, and sign this statement agreeing to abide by these policies. By signing this statement you acknowledge that no single point of view will have influence over matters of content or operations of BioAgenda or its personnel.
